Hi! I'm Betsy. Thank you for stopping by.

I'm wife to my best friend, mom to four of the best kids ever, and recently gained the new title of grandma! The quote by Eric Liddell has always resonated with me. God has made me (and all of us) for a purpose. Caring for the people around me is a big part of that purpose. He has also made me an artist, and I feel his pleasure when I create. I've been painting for over ten years and selling portraits for more than six years. It never gets dull. I still can't wait to get into my studio to work on the next project.

Detail is my best friend when painting. The more detail the better! My clients appreciate the care I take in getting things to look as they should, whether it be their beloved pet or their home of 30 years. Painting is just part of what I do.  Connecting with my clients, hearing what is important to them, and then revealing that in the painting is a priority and a privilege. 

I also find time to work on paintings that show what I'm passionate about. Vibrant color, gardens, architecture, and great landscapes are all a part of what I love to create. You can see some of these as prints for sale on my products page.
